Vedic Procedure
1
Prayer started in your name
The puja is started in your name and family name (gotra), so the prayer is done only for you — for fixing Vastu dosh and bringing good energy home.
2
First we pray to Ganesh ji
We first pray to Ganesh ji to clear all troubles, and set up the holy kalash so the puja begins the right way.
3
Vastu Purush and the Navagraha is welcomed and worshipped
Vastu Purush and the Navagraha is called and worshipped with flowers, lamp (deep), dhoop and other simple offerings, just as our shastras teach.
4
Holy mantra chanting
The holy Vastu Shanti mantra and Navagraha mantra is chanted many times to put full power into your prayer.
5
Havan and final offering
A havan (sacred fire) is done and the last offering (purnahuti) is given to complete the puja and bless your wish.
